How It Works
Chlorine Tonner → FRP Safety Hood → FRP/PVC Duct → Suction Blower → Absorption/Scrubber System
If a chlorine leak occurs, the hood is positioned over the tonner to contain the escaping gas. The connected suction system draws the chlorine through the ductwork toward an absorption system, where the gas is treated.
Important: The hood itself should not be treated as a complete chlorine emergency-control system. Effective protection normally requires appropriate leak detection, suction/absorption equipment, emergency procedures, PPE and trained personnel.
